My Neighbour on Top of the Tree

The kestrel family showed themselves again. I was sitting in the sun on the balcony in the afternoon, trying to catch warm (hot) rays for my left ear, which is causing some pain today. Have been to my GP in the morning and will not be working until Thursday in the hope things will improve.
But after I got home the ear pain started over again (I think it was triggered by the temperature shock in the car this morning, close to frost). Now applying warmth in all kinds to the ear (hot water bottle, sun, infrared lamp). It helps - until I take it away. Again - will see what it's like tomorrow morning. Will sleep with a beanie tonight....
BTW all COVID tests negativ so far, but the symptoms feel familiar (something different every day).
