Rearranging
Yesterday Robyn and her partner Jake helped Mr U&L and I to move the nets over the pond so the plants were free to grow without getting caught in them and looking an awful mess.
As you can see I think we have been quite successful, and I have ordered some hand forged pegs from the local blacksmith to secure the nets down in future.
Hopefully the Heron will continue to stay away as it is only a small piece of pond that isn’t covered, but if he does return we will secure a portion of net ‘tent like’ over this area to keep him away. We were gifted some very large 12-15 inch or more Koi last autumn and we need to keep them safe.
The King Cup is putting on a very good show this spring, it is such a lovely sunny colour. Although I do also grow the less vigorous but equally beautiful white one in one of my sink ponds. ( see extras)
