Around mid-day, we arrived...

...in London for an overnight stay, before tomorrow's journey across to mainland Europe.

We had a wander from King's Cross into the West End. Unusually, street shots weren't easy, because there were too many people.

So I looked upwards for a blip. I spotted a camera-shy bird suddenly taking off. 

A second upward shot, of sunny, strangely-distorted, reflections in a tall glass-fronted building, became my extra.
