In the Reeds

Another very sunny day, with a prefect temperature.
The day started with a Pilates class where I was the only one attending, I've never worked harder!!
Then I got on my bike to go to Inverleith Park to meet my friend A.  We are both keen on swans and birds in general, so made our way down to the pond to see what was happening.  There is a lot of nesting going on- the swans and coots all had nests, and we found a mislaid egg beside the path.  The photo is of the young female probably incubating her first eggs, the male is older.
After cycling back we visited my Mum, this time visiting Craiglockhart Pond which now has 10 swans.
I've also spent some time in the garden.
