Southern Hawker

Sitting in the sun on our Neptune statue: this Blue Darner (Aeshna cyanea).
I saw it from the corner of my eye while we were having a simple short BBQ and rushed inside to fetch the camera but I had plenty of time because it just stayed there.
Chose this angle because of the shadow of the wings on the statue.
