Moth-eaten!

Not sure whether the title is referring to the decrepit moth or my finger.

This was hiding out under the cover to our rotary drier this morning. He was quite a tame little fella and I easily managed to get him to perch on my finger. He wasn't in the best condition and is most likely reaching the end of his days, which might go some way to explain why he didn't go too far when I disturbed him.

Anyway, we (my moth/butterfly/dragonfly/damselfly consultant and I) think it might be a very faded Yellow Shell moth (Camptogramma bilineata). Very common and not at all exciting.

Hardly worth a Blip, eh?
