Daughter love

J surprised me with this perfectly pink bouquet - belated Mother’s Day - and a very big hug. She’s been going through a tough time so I’m glad to be back to support her. I had a lovely card waiting for me from B too, and a book. I do feel appreciated - and appreciate them so very much.

It’s SO good to be home. Long day on the slow ferry although it was a smooth crossing. Our new operator, DFDS, have had to borrow a ship (long story) from France. The tills can’t be used so two cooked meals were provided gratis by the French crew.

I am beyond tired so won’t browse tonight but will be back in some kind of routine very soon!
