We went shopping in Blackburn before lunch and popped into Santander bank to make an appointment for Maria to join the bank because it is the one used by York university. Results on Thursday, not long to go!
Maria can not have a Santander student current account until she brings in a letter confirming her place at university.
Santander are offering a reduced rate train travel card lasting for four years to students in full time higher education.
This is a marvellous incentive. Otherwise it is £20 return from Rishton to York.
After lunch we went to Oswaldtwistle Mills where there was a craft demonstration.

I worked in the afternoon at One Planet and some new customers found the shop. It was nice to serve some friendly people from Leicester who were visiting family in Accrington and bought some Dr. Stuart teas
I went to Church in the evening and enjoyed a delicious homemade pizza for my tea.
A fantastic Saturday.
