Red Light District - Amsterdam

If there was an alternative tourist trail around the world, then surely the red light district of Amsterdam would feature on it.

Yep, part two of our holiday is on foreign shores.

We left last night at 8pm on the night boat from Harwich to the Hook Of Holland. We had a fabulous meal on the boat, and only a few hours sleep.

Our first port of call was the home of Anne Frank. A deeply moving museum with a hellishly long queue.

When we came out it was chucking down, so we did a boat cruise around the canals, and saw a bit more of Amsterdam.

We landed on our feet. The Amsterdam American is a stunner!

The red light district is a real eye opener for an innocent welsh man like me!
