A walk down memory lane

Today we drove up to Dunstable, ready to attend a funeral tomorrow.
We stopped off at Ascot House and gardens which were as lovely as we had remembered but busier! A new, larger car park attracts more people.
Next a stop at Ashridge for our familiar walk around the field, followed by a stop at the top of Dunstable Downs.
Then on to our hotel in Dunstable. Stayed at the once beautiful Old Palace Lodge, nowIm not really sure what it is!
