Went to sewing group this morning. It was Ja’s 70th birthday so cake was served. Came home via the supermarket, grabbed some lunch, got changed and drove over to Va’s to play canasta with her and Sue. Came back home to feed the cats and then drove down to mk. It was a slow journey due to an accident and then lane closures but I arrived at F’s 10 minutes early . It was good to see everyone snd the food was delicious, but I forgot to take any photos. Here are my shiny new boots which I bought just before Christmas and forgot about! Wore them today with a shortish dress and thick tights. Just about right for the temperature.
Slow journey home again- 3 lots of lane closures and all down to one lane so some very slow bits and lots of lorries of course.
