Reykjavík Gay Pride

Gay Pride in Reykjavík is a big event. It seems everybody who is not away shows up. This year they estimated that more than 60 000 people were downtown. The weather was also cooperating, it was not cold and it didn't rain.

This is the mayor in an Icelandic folk dress, delivering flowers. He said the other day that he thinks the main task for politicians is to work on upholding human rights. I think is absolutely right.
