Shipwreck?

The Kurilpa pedestrian bridge across the Brisbane River links the city centre to the art gallery, museum and library precinct. Completed in 2011, it has won architectural awards. I like the quirky design - the array of what looks like angled spars, masts and rigging suggests, to me, a 19th century shipwreck! Our Tuesday walking group passed by early today, with city buildings looking sparkly in the dawn light.
