A spider's exoskeleton.
I was in the garden looking for something dry to blip when I came across this spider moult. It was dry and weightless, so much that I struggled to bring it inside, it preferring to float away on a breeze. Eventually I succeeded. Whilst photographing no one was allowed to breathe.
I think this is the exoskeleton of a jumping spider, judging by all those eyes, although other spiders have them too. Whatever it was, it was tiny, though no doubt bigger now.
Apologies to arachnophobes but this is not a spider, it's its suit.
