Baby birds

I have spent quite a bit of today chatting to the Chair of the Friends of St John's Garden, then creating a plan (extra) which the volunteers can use to decide who needs to water which beds.  I got to spend a quiet half an hour there this afternoon watching mainly pigeons but also a robin, a baby magpie calling for its parents, and this baby blackbird hopping off from an impromptu bird bath under the watchful eye of its Dad.
