Dry
With thanks to Incrediblish for hosting TinyTuesday this month and coming up with some fun themes for the weekly challenge. It is cold and windy outside and I wasn't feeling like stalking wildlife. Charlie was singularly uncooperative in terms of posing for the camera, and I think you need a break from dog pics from me right now. So, I gave some thought to "dry" and quickly decided on a small bottle of dried thyme, a favorite cooking herb. I used the 70-180 f/2.8 lens which renders such a lovely soft background and set up on the floor. A few clicks and I was done.
After lunch Hubs will deliver me to the Marriott at the Newark airport where I will spend the night before catching my very early flight tomorrow. I think by this time tomorrow I should be in Dallas and then later in the day, in Portland. Wish it was a bit easier to get there, but it's worth it.
Meanwhile, our cherry trees are in mid-bloom which usually means droves of pollinators - however, this year it is just a bit too cold and the blossoms are dropping shortly after they pop open. Not sure if the trees will bear fruit this year.
