Too Blue

On a beautiful warm evening, I went down to the water's edge and light falling on the rocks was sublime. The still water, an impossible deep blue, set off the warm colours of the rocks to a tee.

I zoomed in to emphasise a few rock shapes and textures. Colour appeals to be, especially colour contrasts, but I thought to also try a few b&w shots. I liked the big shapes and how raking light brought out texture and form. It seems to describe the weight of the rocks.

Extra: Muscular.
