Crafty

With Louisa at work, today was an Owen and Daddy day. The choice of outing changed from Carding Mill Valley to Snailbeach to Ellesmere...the promise of ice cream and playground may have swayed the final decision.
From the car park we walked up towards the castle mound, investigating a couple of sculptures on the sculpture trail on the way, including A Prisoner here that Owen decided to free with his Minecraft diamond axe.

We followed the Shropshire Way* back down through the trees and walked along the mere promenade before enevitably finding our way to the play area, where Owen attempted to terrify me by climbing around despite his broken arm. He even found someone to play Minecraft with, relegating me to a spectator for an hour or more before the lure of ice cream became too much for him.
