Kale

I woke up feeling ill. It couldn’t be a hangover as the evening was too subdued for that. And, as the day went on, I didn’t get any better. I cancelled next week’s Blood Donor session as I think I need to get to the bottom of this cough, which is the cause of my ill feeling. I did manage to contact the pension people to set up an anti-scam call with them so that I might finally be able to transfer the money.

After work, I went downstairs, where PY was reheating some of the orzo we had earlier in the week but adding a tray of crispy kale. I’m unsure if that was to boost the orzo dinner’s flavour or use some vegetables from the fridge.

Later, he introduced me to The Residence on Netflix. It’s a murder mystery set in the White House, and The Guardian said, “This joyful murder mystery is eight hours of gorgeous, gleeful escapism” ... and it was just what I needed before an early night.
