Aeolus...

...leaving the Tyne, and causing quite a stir...

She's an offshore construction vessel -  maybe a jackboat, or maybe someone will know better...? She was leaving - very slowly - this morning as we wandered along the river for a coffee at The Lowlight, tugs and pilot boat in attendance, and filling the space beyond the staithes. 

Apparently they are splitting the pathway along the river  to create a cycle lane - as someone stopped to tell us! Hence the surveying equipment... She didn't seem impressed when I said "good" - but as it is the cyclists weave in and out of the pedestrians and dogs on and off leads, and that always strikes me as more dangerous. There's plenty of room for both!

Home sns now after a lovely few days oop north - so lovely to have a run of sunny days!
