Arrival at Lyme Regis

This afternoon we arrived in Lyme Regis with Mr hazelh's parents. We'll be staying here for three nights. The sole aim of this short holiday is to rest and relax. 

Checking into the hotel took longer for the car than it did for the people! This was due to the demand for spaces in the hotel car park. After we unpacked in our rooms (both with great sea views), the four of us took a wander around the hotel grounds. Then we headed to the bar for pre-dinner drinks. Dinner itself was delicious, and also very convivial in the hotel's orangerie.   

I have blipped Mr hazelh with his mother from the hotel garden. The bay and part of The Cobb are in the distance behind them.
