Another dry day but still a wee chilly East wind.
Everything fed ,then sorted out the 30 blks and 3 hefs that are left to sell. 7 big ones , 13 Limousin X and 13 Angus X. Hopefully DM will be in this week for a look.
I spent the day mixing slurry again. Hope to get the tank in the slatted shed empty before the weather breaks.
Kev took a trailer load of big straw bales up to the field we lamb the hill ewes in. They are used to make a compound for all the ewes that need special attention when they lamb.
Took the dogs a wee walk tonight while my tea was in the Aga cooking.
My spring calving cows are starting to bag up a bit, but still no calves yet. This Hereford x cow was contemplating life as the sun went down…..
