Avocets

… sister and sister in law in the distance with brother bringing up the rear somewhere around the houseboats.
An early start and reasonable journey down. Arrived at Brancaster at lunchtime and nipped into Wells first to get bits and bobs and then down to Overy. Met up with the girls first who said the others were walking so went to catch up with them on the bank and gathered sea beet.
Once back I lit a fire and we settled down to a fish pie supper. 
Beautiful but bitter wind and freeeeeezing in the tent.
