"Paras over the Barras"
This colourful letterbox topper appeared in Bridge of Allan today, probably the first for the town. It was a rare sight, and many of us stopped to photograph it.
The Riverside Drama Club are using it to promote their upcoming production of "Paras over the Barras," held next month at the Parish Church, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

N.B. “Paras over the Barras”, based on the book by James Barclay, is a play set in East End of Glasgow during World War 2 and is full of Glaswegian wit and humour.
