Tulips and garlic

Just got in from covering up the lettuce and kale I planted yesterday. It is a little early to do that, true, but I did it anyway and now spring has taken a step backwards. It was sunny, though, and the redbud trees are in full purple. The garlic planted last fall is also doing well. And isn't this tulip amazing? Never had such fancy ones in the garden.
