Pair of Paradise ducks

Paradise ducks mate for life I think. This morning was feeling sorry for the male sitting on the tree stump calling and calling for its mate. He then flew off and was back in no time calling again. This went on for quite a while he must have been thinking she was gone for good. Then joy of joys she arrived back and they stayed there for ages.  I was so pleased for them
