A wee dram

I managed to get tickets to this year's Whisky Fringe. Lots of whisky available for sampling, and lot's of whisky sampled. Got the chance to try the Talisker Storm and Ardbeg Uigeadail - torn between which one might make a good addition to my whisky shelf. Also got to try the as-yet unreleased Talisker Dark Storm, but preferred the normal Storm.

Other highlights were the Adelphi Caol Ila 9 yr old, Yamizaki Sherry Cask, the half-time orange Laphroaig that I sampled and the extra-special 1977 Glenlivet refill sherry hogshead (which wasn't even on the stand, but when asked where we go from the Glenlivet 25yr old, the guy reached for his special, behind-the-counter case).

Slàinte mhath, slàinte mhor!
