Little Helper

Today was the second induction day for our new volunteers. Overall we have managed to recruit 10 newbies this season so fingers crossed they all enjoy it and stay :)

We also gained a little helper today as it’s half term. One of the volunteers brought in her daughter and she wanted to help paint the fence…for all of 3 minutes and then she got bored :))

It was good to get out for another couple of hours and then we took Mum for lunch which was nice.
This afternoon I have pricked out and potted up around 60 seedlings and I have about 30 plants that were autumn sown to plant out tomorrow.

An evening helping my husband with the eulogy beckons so not really looking forward to that. It’s such a difficult and emotional task.
