Marjorie's ramblings

Walking from Allendale

Despite the cold, grey weather, we had a lovely walk from Allendale. Brian was leading and Eric was his back up. We had some road walking, so they were suitably attired with high vis vests.

I was trying to be arty when I saw the walkers going downhill ahead of me, so I took the image through this larch. It was only when i put it on the screen that I saw the larch flowers. Aren't they exquisite?

We met a number of friendly horses and were greeted on our return by the Dalek at the Science Fiction Museum.

There was a roaring fire in the pub, which was welcome. After a good chat, I headed for Hexham and Aldi. Then I went to the hospital to have my right hand and wrist x-rayed. The radiographer was very sympathetic when I said I could not hold the needle to stitch up my knitting!

She saw no sign of a fracture, new or old. That was good news. I will feel more confident about using my hand again.

Tomorrow will be an adventure, so  I need an early night.
