Lifeboat

I was a bit surprised to see a lifeboat entering the marina this morning - and it wasn't even the local lifeboat.  This one, the Mollie Hunt, had travelled up from Appledore in Devon to here in Portishead, North Somerset.  Later in the morning, I could see that it had been lifted from the water at the boatyard in the marina.  My blip shows the boat positioned on the side of the marina with the lifting trolley just about to be moved out of the way.  Apparently the lifeboat will be here a couple of days while it is cleaned and serviced.

There is always something happening here to provide entertainment.
