Breakdown

En route to the Kruger the long landrover in which we were travelling caught fire - exactly the same fault that had happened a couple of weeks before. The vehicle had been taken to the garage and supposedly fixed...but ...just as we got to the Park gate the same short happened and a small fire started. So, what to do?  Well, having called the mechanic and suggested he get himself over to the gate , David called Ian who sent a driver with a different vehicle, all the gear was repacked and we sat and had lunch whilst waiting for the mechanic.  He fixed the vehicle enough that the driver could take it back to the farm from where it would be towed to Tzaneen and hopefully fixed better.
Not the best start to our trip - but we did get to our park camp before closing time so were okay!
