Bolton Abbey Easter Trail!

If you know me, you'll know I love a trail so when I saw the Easter Trail advertised at Bolton Abbey whilst cycling one weekend, I knew it was a visit that had to happen. 

Mum and I parked in a layby a little distance away and enjoyed walking towards the Cavendish Pavilion through the woods and beautiful grounds of Bolton Abbey. 

The trail itself winds through Strid Woods whilst you spot giant bunnies hiding between the trees and see huge eggs suspended from the trees. 

You complete a trail sheer by using coordinate based clues and there's then opportunity to design a bunny for the 2026 trail. 

A fantastic trail, and once complete we took a longer route to return to the car, via a picnic stop. A great day out! 

Upon returning I've been for a walk and natter with Holly. A weekly session that always flies by without any effort. :-)
