Our Anniversary

Over the years I've been blipping I've normally tried to do a special anniversary blip. The Man and I have been married for 48 years. Yes, really!

In recent times, I've been tired, I haven't been giving blipping my full attention. So today, what could I do? I was out this morning at our church Homegroup - great.

This afternoon, because I was driving, I chose our local Larch Cottage Nurseries as our garden centre visit. It's a while since the three of us have been and I wanted to avoid motorway driving. I also had a Mothers' Day voucher to pick up.

To make it special for our anniversary, I ordered ice cream with our cheesecake. Wow! Really pushing the boat out! I had a nice afternoon there and got my blip.

In the evening it was choir practice in preparation for Palm Sunday. I'm not a good singer but it makes me very happy to be part of this small group and I'm trying to learn the Alto tunes to familiar hymns.

At the end of the day The Man and I relaxed with a couple of glasses of Prosecco and whiskies. I haven't had an alcoholic drink since February. I never wanted to completely give up alcohol, just not use it, for whatever reason, every day, or even most days. I'm happy with that!
