Incarcerated

Kilometre after kilometre, or, if you wish, miles and miles of fences have been drawn, to help in the struggle against the African Swine Fever (ASF).
Our villages is now in between two different ones.
As far as I know both fences should stop the (infected) wild boars from travelling to the east, as the current centre of the illness is west of us. However, the ASF came from the east to us, so perhaps the fences are just to stop the wild boars to move at all.
It is a weird feeling. This area had hardly any fence between fields, you could walk almost anywhere (although farmers wouldn't be happy if you would ruin their harvest).
Let's hope the experts get things sorted and can reduce ASF significantly.
