Last day of holibobs :/

After packing & waving goodbye to our little home away from home, we took one last drive through the moors, making our way over to Lydford, a few stops to take in the scenery along the way.
Dartmoor really is a stunning place, and I've fallen a little bit in love with the place over the last 7 days I have to say!

We went over to Lydford Gorge, owned by the national trust, a truly wonderful visit to finish off our week!
A 3.5 mile walk which took us along to this magical place.. The is the base of white lady waterfall, the path then follows along the side of the river, which was constantly changing from still & calm, to fast and manic!! At the far end was 'the devils cauldron' where the path leads down & in to a part of hollowed out rock, water rushing in & away super fast ... A spectacular place to visit!!

A bit of a long drive home, but we made it back safe & sound... and holiday blues about to kick in! :( grrr! Lol!
