Across the field

Another dry sunny day. I arrived at the gym in the morning anticipating a cycle class but the instructor wasn’t available and l hadn’t received the message. It took awhile to decide whether to do some work in the gym but l did. I probably needed as I tend not to do much with the weights as l find it fairly boring. Anyway I returned home feeling better for the visit.

A day of sorting out stuff at home a trip into Exeter to look at duvet covers unsuccessfully, some seeds bought at the garden centre and then a trip to the early showing at the film club. It was a very powerful film called Incendies about an immigrant mother’s last wish that her adult children should re establish connections to their home country which they no nothing about. Very moving, disturbing and very relevant today.
