On the way to the Coast Watch
Slept well last night. Being woken up at home by roaring traffic in the early hours doesn't suit.
After breakfast headed to the High Street for supplies for dinner.
On return took hound for a walk along the sea front. He charmed a passerby who got chatting with me. You're always meeting someone new when dog walking.
After lunch prepared dinner, a pasta sauce with leek and chickpeas. Couldn't find fresh parsley but found basil.
Read a bit before heading out with Mr and the hound.
We walked westwards past the boating pond. A man with blue framed glasses was floating a model boat. It drifted serenely and the owner said she always returned to him.
While at the boating pond a remote controlled boat was creating S shapes across the water. The hound started getting excited, jumping about and crying out. We think it reminded him of the mechanical hare on the greyhound racetrack. I got him away before he jumped into the water.
We walked up the path to the Coast Watch. The height afforded splendid views east and west. The horse parsley/Alexanders's scent accompanied us.
The sea was a tad choppy.this evening.
Pleasant evening everyone.
