Turandot
A satellite live performance (though it wasn't actually live) from the Royal Opera at our local cinema. It was quite sad to see how poorly supported it was considering how much hassle and expense would be involved in making the trip to London to see a performance like this - only about 20 people in the audience.
It was a revival of a production from the 1980s, and the staging was superb - though I continue to think Turandot was a bit of a cow, and the Prince behaved appallingly badly towards the loyal and faithful Lui. I guess he and Turandot deserved each other - I hope they didn't live happily ever after!
The blip is a clever display on the wall of the cinema cafe area.
