A Spring Day
...and a power walk around the neighborhood. I took this picture from the crest of the hill on Los Alamos road. The neurologist prescribed a 30 to 45 minute 'brisk' walk every day. Today we were trying to set a baseline for 'brisk'. I think we should get extra points for our hilly terrain.
We took Dana along to the neurologist for moral support, her medical knowledge and her pragmatic take on whatever he said. We're still digesting what he said, but in addition to the power walk, it also involves a Mediterranean diet and the consumption of at least 64oz of water a day. John said, 'but I have to pee all the time' and the doc said, 'that's because you're old!' Dana said he should have a 64 oz. container filled every morning, and he can't go to bed until he finishes it. I'm lucky if I can get him to drink any water in a day so we'll see how that goes...
Henrietta is now back to making daily visits to look in various doors while our little bluebird is still fluttering around the windows. I don't know what they are finding so fascinating, but they're keeping us amused.
The quilt has been received at its destination so I'm putting a picture of it in extras.
