Another flower..
I try not to blip 2 days in a row of flowers, but some days I don’t have a choice. My day did not start off on the right foot when I realized the deer were back at it and munching on my tulips. Last weekend I saw that some of the day lilies around our tree were being munched on and I thought maybe the package of dry blood that was placed there was defective. This morning when I saw they got some of my tulips ( and they haven’t even bloomed yet) I realized the dried blood isn’t working anymore. Looks like they were nosing around the anemones too, because some of the flowers were missing. They say eventually nothing works. They get used to the scents that they don’t like. I am now waving the white flag and giving up. I told my husband we will take out the hostas and daylilies ( they especially love those ) and plant deer resistant plants. I read African daisies are deer resistant. I will transplant the tulips to the backyard along with the anemones. Luckily the zinnia seeds I planted are also deer resistant.
