August Challenge: Day 7 .....

Exotic.

Not having anything around the house that I considered exotic a trip to the pet supply store was in order.

Where this rather beautiful and exotic Barraband's Parakeet was on display. At first glance I thought it was a parrot because of its size. But after asking the clerk we found out it was actually a parakeet ~ very exotic as it is a native of south-eastern Australia.
