Easy pleasy
It turned out relatively easy to carve out time for my physical wellbeing being. I just needed to reduce time spent online between waking up and movement and get out for an early walk. Being outside early is really good for my mental health too. Win, win. Now to repeat until, once again, it is a habit that requires no thought.
The first field I crossed was a canvas of blacks and browns. So dry that, at first, I thought it had been sprayed with something. The second field was much greener and I disturbed another creature enjoying the greeness.
My nature walk continued. Highlights included birdsong, geese, mist, feathers, blossom, water and horses. I had a chat with a dog walker I'd not seen for a while. Arrived home feeling content.
Lunchtime break was another slice of joy. A swim with a lovely group of women. The water temperature had dropped a little to 11 degrees but it was so calm and clear that nobody cared.
I did have to work a bit later than normal because of the extended break but it was worth every minute.
