Encased

A post cap had come off during the winter and when I picked it up it had a leaf encased in ice which pop out like an ice cube.  The last ice of the winter?  Not sure, with snow and icy rain for tomorrow perhaps not.  Cold rain today but my friend and I will make our way to Portland to see the Art in Bloom exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art.  This annual event always puts one in a springtime mood.
