A Wee Extra Solo Dip

I almost didn’t go to the beach this morning; I woke late with just 20minutes to get up and get out to catch my usual bus. I swithered as to whether I could be bothered but my auto pilot kicked in and I was off and halfway down the road before I realised it. The weather is set to deteriorate over the weekend and so it was very much last chance saloon for a dip with the lovely weather.

The sun was up,  the tide was halfway to Fife, but the sea was calm and I had it all to my self once the kyaker had got stated on his “jobbie”run. My sunbeam on the sea was waiting for me and I swam along it and did 4 celebratory handstands on it before calling it a day. 

I am writing this outside in the sunshine with a mild breeze to keep me from overheating- what a difference from the chilly north easterlies of recent days.
It’s Friday again and another TGIF drinks get together but today there will be two absentees who are living it up in London for a few days. I hope they are having our sunshine
