Grumpy Old Man

Oz in Oban

More sunshine, with a pleasant breeze. Been outside most of the day, filling up my new pots and generally tidying up. I shall miss the sunshine when it's gone, but I'm glad I don't have to work in the garden from 8am to 6pm, as I used to in my working days! I couldn't stand it now.

My Blip today is of the Australian Grevillea rosmarinifolia which is now potted up and stands with its fellow potted plants at the end of the house. Another pot now has Fuchsia magellanica ‘Logan Woods’ and the third one, Choisya ternata ‘Aztec Pearl’. I went to look out of the window to remind myself of the latter and remembered that I’d put eight pots there - the rest will have to wait!

Now I’m going back out - with a cuppa and a book rather than pots and compost!
