Remembering

This is Berk House (as it was named in those days), where our company, Integral Solutions, was based from 1995 to 1999.

I couldn’t resist stopping by to see it today, as Rachael and I passed Basingstoke on the way to the funeral of our dear friend and former colleague, Linda. It was a lovely, and tremendously moving, celebration of Linda’s life. She was a remarkable woman. Although it was circumstances rather than aspiration on her part that led to her holding senior executive positions in AI startups, she was outstandingly effective in the various roles she took on. But she was also academically brilliant, fluent in multiple languages, deeply engaged with many aspects of culture and the arts, and someone who gave her care, time and commitment selflessly to support people, causes and her community.

Hearing tributes from family and friends today, I know she’ll live on in the fond memories we all have of her.
