Waiting

I was on the phone to my Mum at the time, but Merry thought I should still be able to play ball :-) If you look carefully, you might see a green spot in the distance, which is D sawing wood.

Today I cut the grass for the first time this year, because it’s going to rain this weekend, apparently. The grass cutting was D’s job for many years and now it’s mine. I was nervous about taking it on as I thought I might damage the mower, but I’m careful not to go over any stones and I actually quite enjoy it. Good for the step count!

I set my alarm for 5.58 this morning to get a place in Monday’s aqua class. By 6.03 all rhe places had gone. It’s that popular. I hadn’t booked for today’s class but at 10am there was a cancellation, so off I went. I never regret going, and enjoyed a nice sauna afterwards.
