Lucky Rabbit

Evening all, 

Good day today.....out with dogs walking over the hill, an extinct volcano, at the back of the town. Got near the top and as we walked forward to look down on the town below, spotted a rabbit feeding, scurry a little bit forward then eat. Was surprised he hadn't heard us approach as we weren't quiet and the wind was behind us going towards him !  Eventually for no reason the wee mutt barked, not even in the direction of the rabbit because OBV, rabbit heard that and bolted and the dogs went mental barking at it !! Lucky rabbit.....if I'd been a hunter......maybe my hunters instinct from long ago as hunter gatherer kickin in that I got so close lol.
Had a pile of driftwood to get rid of so a small fire was started and I sat with coffee in hand, chocolate biscuit in other and enjoyed......was chilly after the sun went down 
No rabbit was harmed in the making of this blip but the chocolate biscuits were decimated !!
