Oak

The oak is bursting forth with its flowers and the limey green leaves.. just a wonder of nature.
It has been glorious today.. warm and full of birdsong.
We even had a pair of blue tits visiting the nest box again.. a different pair I think.
After the shenanigans at the village hall an event was cancelled but instead the Pizza evening took place on the village green and they sold 48 pizza!!  Sounded enjoyable but being gluten free it was not my evening! I stayed home while hubby ate pizza with the village...
