still completely stuck re camera.  camera stores just don't really exist anymore, mike's is still going but has meh selection, same for the the big box places.  anything online is non-existent/wait listed.  need to go into the city or san jose, maybe east bay.  can i be bothered?  well, that's a whole other thing, of course.
